Terms of Service
Effective from August 1, 2026
These terms describe the rules under which we run LiveBot for you. We tried to write them so they make sense without a lawyer. If anything is unclear, write to us and we will explain.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
LiveBot.cz is operated by ITex Services s.r.o., IČO 08886164, DIČ CZ08886164, registered office at Knapovec 180, 56201 Ústí nad Orlicí, spisová značka C 45260 vedená u Krajského soudu v Hradci Králové. You can reach us at info@livebot.cz.
These terms apply to anyone who creates an account with us and uses the service, referred to below as the „client“. The service means the chat assistant we run on the client's website, the client portal and everything that comes with it.
We provide the service to businesses. If you sign up as a consumer, contact us first, you have additional statutory rights that these terms do not cover.
For now we sell in the Czech Republic only. The service can be ordered by anyone with a registered office or place of business there. The chat itself then talks to visitors from anywhere, in the languages you choose. When that changes, you will find it here.
2. How the contract is formed
The contract is formed when you complete registration, or when we set the site up for you by arrangement. From that moment you are the administrator of your site within our platform.
A new site starts in trial mode, free, time limited and with lower limits than paid plans. The portal tells you how many days it runs. When the trial ends the assistant stops replying, but we delete neither your site nor your data; once you move to a paid plan you carry on where you left off.
You are responsible for your account credentials. We recommend turning on two-factor authentication, you will find it in the portal.
3. What we do for you
We run a chat assistant that answers your website visitors from the material you give it. We let a human take over a conversation, we collect statistics and — if your plan includes it — we let the assistant reach into your system for live data.
We keep developing the service. We may change how it looks and how it works inside, including which language model generates the answers. We will not remove a feature included in your plan without at least one month's notice.
Plans differ in limits and in the range of features. The current shape is in the pricing page and in your portal.
4. What we need from you
You are responsible for the content you put into the knowledge base and for the website address you have it imported from. You must hold the rights to it and publishing it must not break the law.
You must tell your website visitors that they are chatting with an AI assistant and how you handle their data. We will give you the material for that, but you are the controller of those data.
You must not use the service to send unsolicited messages, to work around our limits, to run load tests without arranging them with us, or in any way that could harm us or other clients. You must not attempt to reach other clients' data.
If you breach these rules seriously, we may suspend the service. Where possible we will warn you first and give you room to put it right.
5. Pricing and payment
The price follows the plan you have chosen; we may also agree an individual price with you, in which case that one applies. Prices in the pricing page are inclusive of VAT.
We invoice in advance, monthly or yearly depending on what you choose. Invoices are due within 14 days and we send them to the billing email address you enter in the portal.
You can pay by bank transfer from the invoice, using the QR code on it, or by card through a payment gateway. The QR code is just a more convenient form of the transfer, the amount and the reference number are already filled in.
Card payments are handled by the payment gateway, not by us; its operator is named at checkout. When you pay by card, a recurring payment is set up under article 6.
If an invoice is overdue we will remind you. If it stays unpaid we may suspend the service, the assistant stops replying, but we do not delete your data.
We may change prices. A change will only affect you from the next billing period and we will tell you at least a month in advance. If the new price does not suit you, you may terminate before it takes effect.
When you move to a higher plan we charge the difference for the rest of the period. A move to a lower plan takes effect from the next period; amounts already paid are not refunded.
6. Recurring card payments
When you pay by card, a recurring payment is set up, your subscription is then charged automatically and you do not have to think about it. It is set up solely to pay for the plan you have chosen.
We charge the price of your plan for the chosen period, always at its start: monthly, or once a year, depending on what you picked. The amount is fixed and we will never charge more than the price of the plan. It changes only when you switch plans yourself or when the price list changes; we will tell you about a price change a month in advance.
We set up a recurring payment only with your consent, which you give when entering your card. We keep the consent and the payment details for as long as the subscription lasts and for twelve months after that.
You can cancel it at any time in the portal under Settings → Billing, or write to us at info@livebot.cz. Cancellation takes effect immediately and nothing further is charged; the service runs until the end of the paid period. The same way you can change the payment, switch to another card, or to a yearly period.
We will confirm the recurring payment by e-mail within two working days. If the amount or the period is about to change, or if we have not charged you for more than six months, we will let you know at least seven working days before the charge.
Your card number never reaches us. It is held by the payment gateway under the PCI DSS security standard; all we know is the card type and the last four digits, so that you can tell which card it is.
If a payment fails — for example when the card expires — we will let you know and try once more. If it does not go through then either, we will send you an invoice and article 5 applies to it.
7. Withdrawal from the contract
We provide the service to businesses. If you set it up as a consumer, that is outside your trade, the law gives you fourteen days to withdraw from the contract, without giving a reason and without penalty. The period runs from the day the contract is concluded.
Just write to us at info@livebot.cz within that time. We will refund what you paid within fourteen days, by the same route it came, unless we agree otherwise.
One thing the law requires us to point out: this is a digital service, so if you ask to start using it right away and confirm that, your right of withdrawal ends once the service is provided. If you want to keep the fourteen days, wait before the first use, or try the free trial in the meantime.
The fourteen-day period does not apply to businesses; for them, termination under article 12 applies.
8. Availability and support
We run the service in the cloud and aim to keep it available around the clock. We do not, however, guarantee a specific level of availability. If you need one contractually, let us arrange it individually.
We try to schedule planned maintenance outside peak hours and announce it in advance. Unplanned outages we address as soon as we learn of them.
We provide support by email on business days. We handle requests in the order they arrive.
9. How the AI works and what to expect
Answers are generated by a language model. It may answer inaccurately, incompletely, or make up something that was not in the source material. That cannot be fully prevented today. We take it seriously and work to limit it, but we cannot guarantee that any individual answer is correct.
The assistant's answers are therefore not an offer and not a binding promise made on your behalf. We recommend keeping prices and terms in your source material up to date and having the assistant point to a human on important topics.
You can see and browse conversations in the portal. If you notice the assistant answering badly, tell us, often it is enough to adjust the source material.
10. Personal data
When the assistant runs on your website, you are the controller of the personal data in the conversations and we process them for you. The terms of that processing are set out in the data processing agreement, which forms part of these terms.
How we handle your own data as a customer, and the data of visitors to our own website, is described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Liability
We are liable for damage we cause by breaching our obligations. We are not liable for lost profit, for loss of data on your side, or for consequential damage.
Total compensation is capped at the amount you paid us over the twelve months preceding the event. This does not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, nor where the law does not allow it.
We are not liable for outages of the services we build on (hosting, database, language model providers), nor for your own system being unavailable when the assistant reaches into it.
12. Termination and what happens to your data
The contract runs for an indefinite period. You may terminate it at any time, effective at the end of the paid period, just write to us. With yearly billing the unused part is not refunded unless we agree otherwise.
We may terminate with one month's notice. We may terminate immediately if you seriously abuse the service.
After termination we keep your data for another 30 days so you can request them or come back. After that we delete them, except what we must keep by law, typically invoices.
13. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We will tell you by email at least a month in advance. If you do not agree with the change you may terminate before it takes effect; by continuing to use the service you accept it.
Minor edits that change neither your rights nor your obligations (typos, clarifications) we may make without notice.
14. Complaints
If the service does not work as it should, write to info@livebot.cz and describe what is happening. We will get back to you within three business days and agree how to fix it.
If the service was unavailable for more than one day in a month and you did not cause it, we may refund a proportionate part of the price or extend the period.
15. Finally
The contract is governed by Czech law. Disputes we cannot settle will be decided by the court with jurisdiction over the operator's registered office.
We publish these terms in English too. That is a translation for convenience; in case of conflict the Czech version prevails.
